Counselling

  • Individual Counselling – is a one on one discussion between the counselor and the client. It is a personal opportunity to receive support and experience growth during challenging times in life. Individual counseling can help one deal with many personal topics in life such as anger, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage and relationship challenges, parenting problems, school difficulties, career changes, etc.
  • Couple Counselling – is where you go to learn how to be better partners. It’s not about blaming, finding fault, or laying down criticism. Couples therapy is about helping you to learn and practice the tools that help you achieve a better relationship. Couples therapists also work to remove the idea that being in conflict is bad or that you are doing something wrong because you disagree. Your therapist can figure out where you experience stumbling blocks in your approach to conflict and how you deal with your physiological responses. They can also evaluate your repair attempts after conflict.
  • Family Counselling – is a type of psychotherapy that helps family members better understand each other, support one another and work through difficult situations. Family therapy helps family members understand each other and work through difficult feelings in a safe space.
